Premium Plus Transactions Explained
Investments in Spicers Premium Plus can be tailored to your individual requirements. The following transaction options are available - have a word with your Spicers adviser about the best solution for you.
The initial investment in Spicers Premium Plus is made by completing the application form attached to the back of the investment statement for Spicers Premium Plus. The minimum initial investment is $5 000.
Lump Sum Deposits:
Subsequent investments of as little as $500 may be made on an ad hoc basis. These are referred to as "lump sum deposits", and can be any amount from $500 upwards.
Lump Sum Withdrawals:
You can withdraw part or all of your investment (once your deposit cheque has been cleared) by contacting your Spicers Adviser on 0800 102 100.
The minimum withdrawal is $500.
The balance remaining must be at least $5,000, or the total balance must be withdrawn.
You can have funds paid to a pre-nominated bank account, and your Adviser can arrange for the funds to be paid to your Spicers portfolio.
Withdrawal proceeds will usually be credited to your nominated bank account within 3 business days (and no later than 5 days) if written notice is received by the Manager by 5.00pm on a business day.
There is no minimum investment period.
Regular Deposits:
The minimum regular deposit amount is $150.
The available frequencies are fortnightly, monthly or quarterly.

Regular Withdrawals:
An automated regular withdrawal option to provide you with regular income
The minimum regular withdrawal amount is $100.
The available frequencies are monthly or quarterly.
You can have funds paid to a pre-nominated bank account.
Withdrawals will usually be effective on the next business day, and will be processed on the next business day after becoming effective, but must be processed within 5 business days.

Fees: What does it cost to invest in the Fund?
No fees for set up
No transaction fees
No penalties on early withdrawals
No charge for deposits or withdrawals
No Management fees
Authorised Investments: Where does the Fund invest?
The Fund’s underlying investments are mainly cash deposits and short to medium term money market instruments, which are issued by the New Zealand government or other issuers with a Standard & Poors rating of A1 or better or that have been approved by AXA Global Investors Ltd., the manager of the Fund.
Monthly Compounding Effect
The effect of monthly compounding is reflected in the daily balance
The rate you earn is calculated on a daily basis by the Manager. This rate is accrued daily and included in the daily unit price of the Fund

Tax
Being a PIE, income earned in the Fund is taxed at 19.5% or 30% – dependent on your personal PIR
Tax is paid annually as at 31 March, or if you make a full withdrawal
