About Murray Harris
Murray Harris has extensive financial market business development, marketing and client service experience, which he has contributed to major financial organisations in the United Kingdom and New Zealand over the past 15 years. He is currently National Investment Manager for Spicers Portfolio Management and Chair of the Spicers Investment Management Committee.
Murray holds a Diploma of Business Studies from Massey University and a Diploma of Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australasia. He is a Fellow of the Institute. Murray is also a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers and the Association of Superannuation Funds of New Zealand.
He resides in central Auckland and enjoys travel, wine and most sports – particularly rugby, tennis, golf, skiing and motor sport – as well as spending time with friends, family, his wife and three busy and active young children.

About Jeff Matthews
Jeff Matthews has been a practicing financial adviser for more than 17 years. He studied international economics in California, and spent six years living and working in Sweden where he specialised in investment, foreign exchange and international loans. On returning to New Zealand in 1979, Jeff worked for a number of years in merchant banking.
He is a member of the Institute of Financial Planners (IFA) and holds the certified financial planner (CFP) qualification. Jeff is also an executive member of the Estate and Taxation Planning Council of New Zealand. He regularly commentates on investment and financial planning matters on radio and in the press.
Outside work, Jeff has had considerable success as a sportsman. He was the American indoor two-mile champion in 1973 and was awarded “All American” Honours in 1972, 1973 and 1974. He also represented Sweden in the World Cross Country Championships in 1979.
